Farm Fresh Turkeys

Our own farm raised turkeys for Thanksgiving. At Hop-A-Long Farm we raise a mixed flock of Broad Breasted White and Artisan Gold turkeys. The flock is fed an organic feed mixture, along with all the tomatoes, lettuce, peaches, apples and pears they can eat. Their favorite garden scrap is cucumbers. We raise 20 to 25 turkeys each year to weights of 22 to 30 pounds.
